Gratitude is one of those characteristics that is almost always present when feeling happy. Have you ever said good morning and someone says what’s so good about it? Some folks don’t think about what they have in their lives as for being grateful for. Being able to wake up is one of them. Having food to eat and a roof over your head is another. I have been homeless before and that one is a big plus to have. Having your health is another as well as having friends and family that care about you and how your doing. Sometimes we forget what we have and seem ungrateful. Being grateful is primarily experiencing appreciation and significance that can soften a heart that has become too guarded. It builds the capacity for forgiveness, which creates the clarity of mind that is ideal for spiritual development. It is an attitude of peace and hope as well as thankfulness.
Being thankful is a powerful tool because it puts a focus on the object of your thinking and is something you want more of. This is part of your attitude. It is a form of love and is something which flows from the Creator of the universe through all forms of life and manifestation.
