Spiritual growth, the key to Happiness
Spiritual growth is the result of the use of your creative and generative force. It is a combination of inspiration, knowledge, inner reflection and outward action. It is the key to a life of happiness and peace of mind and manifesting the enormous power of the inner spirit. This growth is of great concern to all of us who would like to go on to the next world in better shape than when we came into this world. :) It is a process of getting rid of our wrong and unreal conceptions, thoughts, beliefs and ideas and becoming more and more conscious and aware of our inner being. Don't be in a hurry about spiritual matters, great things come with time. Spirituality is truth-seeking and has more to do with universal values than the specific beliefs of religions. As you expand your awareness of the universe through the experiences you get from practicing, you become more and more balanced and discerning. Vast knowledge is available to us through centuries of Christian scholarship. Any believer can grow to maturity if he or she will develop the habits necessary for spiritual growth. It is basic to the life of a believer just as physical growth is basic to the life of a physical person. Our inner growth is fueled by personal growth and it is a process that unfolds day by day as we overcome our shortcomings, refine our character and learn to better handle the challenges that life brings our way. Spiritual growth is an inherent and vital aspect of Reiki. It does not go against any religions,in fact it may strengthen a person's religious belief. Reiki is a method of spiritual healing and self improvement. It assists in clearing our subtle energy system to release denser energies. Reiki is usually done while you lie down on a table with your practitioner standing behind your head. After a Reiki session, some people describe experiencing a radiance,as well as feelings of peace and well-being. Reiki is balancing,so it can actually be of help anyone in any situation. Since we all have our own ways of being unbalanced, the benefits of Reiki treatment are different for people at different times. It is especially appreciated in hospice care where its ability to alleviate pain and anxiety for both the patient and family members is so greatly needed. Reiki is a Buddhist practice that is approximately 2,500 years old. The name Reiki is derived from two Japanese words: Rei meaning universal spirit and Ki meaning life energy. Spiritual growth is neither instant nor easy. It is a journey that involves process, action, movement, change, experiences, stops and starts, variety and surprises. It is the birthright of everyone and is the key to a life of happiness and peace of mind. It is a lifelong adventure that takes patience, commitment and intentional focus. It is a solitary venture,a venture from within. A lot of people manage to avoid it for a lifetime. I’m glad I didn’t. Be good to yourself because you are worth it! Life Is! :)
